Does a graduate degree mean a career as a tenure-track professor? While this may be the preferred career path for some, your degree will afford a variety of opportunities outside of academia. This workshop will focus on preparing yourself for multiple career options outside of the classroom. Expect an engaging discussion on exploring your options, marketing your education, and planning your career path. Current research on this topic will be presented along with corporate, governmental, and entrepreneurial examples of what a career outside of academia could look like.
