Jalil is a Ph.D. Candidate and Teaching Fellow in the Department of Philosophy and Religion at the University of North Texas. For the past five years, he has been teaching undergraduate social sciences/humanities courses. He has taught "Introduction to Philosophy" and "Ethics in Science" at UNT. His multifaceted background spanning various disciplines profoundly informs his teaching approach. Beyond his academic and pedagogical pursuits, Jalil loves spending time with family - his wife and kids are the real stars that illuminate his life's journey!

Interests: Environmental Philosophy, American Philosophy (esp. Charles S. Peirce and Alfred North Whitehead), Relationship between Philosophy, Religion, and Culture, Philosophy of Science, Human-Nature Relationships, and Interdisciplinary Education.
